Corned Beef
3 to 4 lbs corned beef brisket
2 cloves garlic, whole
2 bay leaves
1 large onion, quartered
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tbs Granny M’s Hot or Mild Pepper Sauce
dash of thyme and marjoram
Place corned beef in a dutch oven and cover with cold water. Add garlic, bay leaves, onion, vinegar, red pepper, Granny M’s Hot or Mild Pepper Sauce, thyme and marjoram. Cover. Bring to a boil and simmer about 1 hour per pound of meat until fork tender. Serve with Granny M’s Pepper Sauce.
